PARKS & RECREATION PLAYBOOK 2030

This plan assesses existing park and recreational facilities, analyzes community needs, determines objectives, suggests implementation strategies and establishes priorities and budgets for components of the park system over a 10-year period. This plan aims to help the City develop a park system that meets both current expectations and future demand. The plan reflects the input of City officials, other public entities, the business community and the citizens of Andover.

Local Parks

The City of Andover has several parks available for its citizens. The following parks are described and features are listed in the following links.


13th Street Sports Park

13th Street Sports Park

13th Street Sports Park is a recreational area located at 1008 E. 13th Street, one-half-mile east of Andover Road. 
  • Andover Community Center (ACC) Building
  • Baseball and Softball Diamonds
  • Multi-purpose fields (soccer, football, & T-ball)
  • Basketball court
  • Sand Volleyball pit
  • Horse Shoe pits
  • Tennis courts
  • Picnic Shelters
  • Nature Path


Andover Central Park

Andover Central Park is a recreational area located at 1607 E.Central.

Neighborhood and Mini Parks

In addition to the 13th Street Sports Park and the Andover Central Park, Andover has three mini parks and oneneighborhood park:
