Single Stream Recycling Program
The City of Andover has adopted a single-stream curbside recycling program. This program is city-wide, and residents are encouraged to recycle as much as possible to help protect our limited resources. Utilization of the program is optional; however, all residents are billed a monthly recycling program fee. This fee is added to the city sewer bill.
The single-stream recycling program started on July 1, 2010. Since the program is single-stream, there is no need to separate the accepted materials. Simply put all of your recyclables directly into the tan recycling cart, and they will be separated after collection at Waste Connections' state-of-the-art recycling center.
The program also has an optional trash service offered at a rate of $11.19 per month. To start trash service, please call (316) 733-1303.
