Hometown Christmas
Like many things in 2020, Hometown Christmas will look a bit different this year. The committee determined it was in the best interest of the public's safety, to put a hold on many of the traditional activities we have during Hometown Christmas. However, check out what we WILL be doing below:

DECEMBER 1ST - That's right, we're kicking the Christmas season off earlier this year!
Virtual Tree Lighting - The City of Andover Christmas Tree lighting will be held on Tuesday, December 1st. The public is welcome to join us "Virtually" on Facebook as we will go "Live" during the lighting ceremony at 5:30 pm. Santa will be there to light the tree as he has done in the past.
Light show coordinated to music at the Capitol Federal Amphitheater® starts on December 1st at 6 pm. They will run nightly through the month of December from 6 pm - 9 pm. We'll have more lights up for you to gaze at as you drive through Central Park. Thank you to Evergy® for sponsoring this event!
Wave to Santa on your way to drive through the lights! Santa will be sticking around for a bit after he lights up the tree but in order to make sure he stays healthy enough for Christmas, he'll be safe in a fire truck, waving at you all as you begin your drive through the park! (6pm - 9pm) *Santa will be taking a break to stretch his legs from 7-7:10pm and 8-8:10pm.
The Andover Area Chamber of Commerce "Christmoose" will be on display at participating businesses. Click HERE for a map and See the image below for more information and Click the link to purchase your tickets!
