1966       Dave Rice, Andover City Marshal (1/8/66 – 6/1/68)


1968       Elmer J. “Blackie” Wiles, Andover City Marshal (6/8/68 – 5/25/70)


1970       James R. “Dick” Uttenger, Andover City Marshal (5/25/70 – 12/28/71)


1971       James R. “Dick” Uttenger becomes Andover’s 1st Chief of Police (12/28/71 –4/5/74)


1973       Andover Purchases first Police Vehicle (used “Ford from the KS Highway Patrol)


1974       Larry Smith becomes Andover’s 2nd Chief of Police (6/1/74 – 8/8/75)


1975       Stephen L. Hopper becomes Andover’s 3rd Chief of Police (8/26/75 – 3/31/77)

                    (Killed in a motor vehicle crash responding to a domestic disturbance as a Butler County Sheriff’s Sergeant, May 19th, 1979.)
