The City of Andover is located in the western portion of Butler County in south central Kansas. Andover's western edge borders the City of Wichita and is 14 miles southwest of El Dorado. Andover is part of the Wichita Metropolitan Statistical Area, which contributes to the City's ease of transportation and travel. 

US-54/Kellogg Ave runs through the heart of Andover and connects quickly to K-96 and I-35. Andover is just a 20-minute drive to Eisenhower National Airport and has several private airstrips for City residents.  

The City is just a quick day trip away from Manhattan (2.5 hours), Kansas City (2.75 hours), or Oklahoma City (2.5 hours).
