July 4 will be here before we know it. At the City Council meeting on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, the governing body approved to discontinue to discharge of fireworks at 13th Street Sports Park. With construction this year and native grasses in the park when complete, there will be too much fire danger moving forward. Thank you for your understanding. 

For 2023, the sale and discharge of fireworks within the City of Andover shall be permitted at the dates and times:

Tuesday, June 27 – Thursday, June 29           
Sale: 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.    
Discharge: 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. 

Friday, June 30 – Tuesday, July 4                  
Sale: 8 - 11:59 p.m.               
Discharge: 10 a.m. -11:59 p.m.   

Wednesday, July 5                 
Sale: 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.                
Discharge: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
