Per City Ordinances 2-301 through 2-305, all dogs in Andover over the age of six months must have a current rabies vaccination, must be registered with the City of Andover, and have a City license tag affixed to the dog’s collar. Per City Ordinance 2-401, dogs are not allowed to run at large in the City and must be on a leash whenever off of their property and not inside of a vehicle. Additionally, only dogs with a current City of Andover registration/license may use either of the City’s two dog parks.
